Stuart was delighted to accept the post of Director of Academic Affairs for a three year term. As if he wasn’t busy enough!

Nina Returns to Work – 2nd November 2010
After spending some gorgeous time at home with Ruari Nina decided she missed her other passion in life – chiropractic. She has returned part-time to the clinic and now works on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Ruari is very pleased that his mummy is having so much fun at work. After her own experiences, Nina is more motivated than ever to work with pregnant women.

Al completes Fertility Acupuncture Course
Al has recently completed a postgraduate course in Acupuncture for Fertility, and also a course on treating endometriosis with acupuncture.

New Massage Therapist Joins Us – 8th September 2010
Kirsty Lovell arrived in the clinic full of enthusiasm and passion for massage. She loves the positive impact massage can have on both physical and emotional health. Between them, she and Sarah Hoare are now able to offer massage on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Simon and Katriona’s New Daughter is born - 2nd September 2010
Welcome to baby Nuala who was born at home, she was a good size at 8lb 8oz. Roisin is delighted with her new sister and loves to give her cuddles. Nuala is going to have to grow up a bit tough pretty fast.

Nina’s son Ruari is Born - 5th April 2010
Ruari was born at home and both Mike and Nina are terrifically proud of their new baby. He was a very healthy 9lb11.5oz (where did Nina hide that bump?). Both mother and son are very healthy.
New Chiropractor Starts - 1st March 2010
Ruth joins us at the clinic from Manchester and is looking forward to putting her roots down in Bristol. "Be the Best You Can Be" is her motivating principle, and she believes that this can be applied to the health and wellbeing of everyone, from the youngest to the oldest. She is a valuable addition to the team and we are delighted that she has joined us.

NICE Guideines Published - 27th May 2009
The new NICE national guidelines for chronic low back pain (pain present for over 6 weeks) state that GPs should offer patients a choice of an exercise class, a course of acupuncture, or a course of manual therapy (as provided by chiropractors). These guidelines have been reached by reviewing what is the most effective management of back pain.
Katriona's Coming Back - 4th February 2009
Katriona is really looking forward to returning to the clinic on 2nd March after her maternity break. She will be working part-time, but available 4 days a week. Roisin says she's looking forward to starting nursery and hanging out with some people her own age for a change. She's just a show off who wants to demonstrate her sitting and rolling skills.
Katriona and Simon are both very proud to annouce the birth of their beautiful daughter Roisin, who was born on Thursday 17th July weighing in a healthy 7lb 8oz. Mother, daughter (and father) are all happy, healthy and over the moon !

New Chiropractor Starts - 1st June 2008
We are delighted to announce that Nina Hollinsgworth will be joining the team of chiropractors on 16th June. Nina will initially be taking over the care of Katriona's patients while she is on maternity leave, but we hope that Nina will stay with us for many years to come. She has worked in Bristol for a while now and shares many of the same interests and expertise as Katriona.

New Website Goes Live - 21st April 2008
After a long wait, the new improved website in back. Hopefuly there is something for everybody, with information about the clinic and all the services we offer, clinical information pages on a range of subjects, and even exercise pages with photographs and explanations of a variety of both stretching and core stability exercises.
New receptionist - 1st December 2007
Goodbye to Karen Young who has been such a vital part of our reception team for the last five years. We wish Karen the best of luck in her new job. And a warm welcome to Maria who brings with her loads of experience and enthusiasm to the role.
